Sui Network has announced a mainnet integration with Axelar Network, enabling seamless cross-chain interoperability and liquidity access across multiple blockchain ecosystems. The partnership, revealed on May 8, targets builders and institutions seeking scalable multichain deployments.

Axelar’s Interchain Token Service will allow developers to deploy smart contracts once while reaching users across diverse networks through infrastructure like Squid Router and wallets including Backpack and SlushWallet. The integration leverages Sui’s high-speed infrastructure to streamline asset issuance and cross-chain transactions.
